An 18-year-old man was injured last night during a stabbing in the Jan Luijkenstraat in Amsterdam South. The victim was rushed to hospital. The police have not arrested anyone yet.
The police received a report of a stabbing on Jan Luijkenstraat last night around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old man with stab wounds on the street. At that time he was no longer approachable and was supported by bystanders.

According to a police spokesperson, several people saw the stabbing. The witnesses were heard yesterday. The police have not yet been able to arrest a suspect and have not yet shared a description of the suspected perpetrator based on witness statements.
