Calculated: shortage of almost a thousand teachers imminent
Amsterdam – There is a huge shortage of teachers in secondary education in Amsterdam. Education union AOb advises to tackle the so-called ‘teacher leak’ as a matter of priority. “You can give new teachers a house, a parking space, but a permanent contract and a good training time are much more important,” says AOb spokesman Rob Voorwinden.
