Major League Baseball – Collective bargaining failed: MLB season start burst

Jupiter (AP) – After the failure of collective bargaining, the season in Major League Baseball does not start on the scheduled date of March 31st.

That’s what MLB boss Rob Manfred said in Florida, where the representatives of the best baseball league in the world and the players have been negotiating for hours over the past few days. At least the first two matchdays of the season are affected.

It is the first time in 27 years that the season has not started on schedule due to disputes between the two parties, US media reported. Overall, this is the fourth time in MLB history and the first time since 1995. The dispute involves, among other things, the payment of players and the number of teams in the playoffs.
