Today the government is launching a large-scale ‘Think ahead’ campaign to prepare Dutch people for emergency situations such as power outages. The message ‘The Netherlands is falling apart’ is spread via TV, radio, social media and public spaces. For the first time this season, night frost was measured in Brabant, with the lowest temperature in Volkel (-1.0 degrees). This is noticeably late compared to the average of September 28.
