There will be climate demonstrations nationwide on Friday. A major rally is planned in Berlin.

Things had recently become quiet around Fridays for Future. The nerve potential of the climate glue of the last generation group was and is too high. They have settled in Berlin again since Wednesday and want to stay permanently – on Monday again with street blockades and sticking campaigns. On Friday they will be taking part in the 13th Global Climate Strike organized by Fridays for Future.

There will be hundreds of actions across Germany on Friday, and thousands worldwide. A large demonstration is planned in Berlin from 12 p.m., which has attracted tens of thousands of participants in recent years.

According to estimates by the movement, more than 220,000 people took part in the last climate action day on March 3rd in Germany alone. The big strike in Berlin in March with around 20,000 participants was far behind the number of participants from previous years. In 2019, around 100,000 people took part in Berlin.
