A water pipe was hit during work on the Zwanebloemkade in the Zaanse Kogerveld district. “The water sprays meters into the air,” says David Sluis from Zaandam.
The spokesperson for the Zaanstreek-Waterland safety region says that PWN is on its way to closing the gap. “The fire brigade was not called.”
It is not yet known whether the surrounding homes are now without water. “It will certainly take a few hours before the gap is closed,” says the PWN spokesperson.
