Mainly dry but cloudy start to the week | Inland

Today will be mostly dry with low clouds and some fog. In the course of the afternoon we expect more clearings from the northwest, but it may remain gray in the center and especially in the east. The maximums are between 1 and 4 degrees south of Sambre and Meuse, and between 5 and 7 degrees elsewhere in the country. This is reported by the RMI.

It can cool down considerably in the western half of the country this evening and during the first part of the night. During the second part of the night (persistent freezing) fog can form over the west and in the Ardennes. Elsewhere, the chance of fog is smaller because the low-hanging clouds dominate.

Tomorrow we get mainly dry weather with (freezing) fog banks in the morning that can be closed. Especially over the west and northwest, the fog can be very persistent and linger for a large part of the day. Elsewhere, we usually expect a lot of low clouds during the day, but gradually some clearings may appear. The maximums are between 2 and 7 degrees.

Locally there are also Wednesday morning (freezing) fog banks, during the day it usually remains heavily clouded. During the afternoon a rain zone will reach our country from the coast and expect some light rain. We achieve maximums of 0 degrees in the High Fens to 7 degrees at the sea.

Also Thursday is variable to heavily clouded, but it is often also dry. By the sea it can be up to 6 degrees. on Friday we get the same weather picture: heavily clouded with occasional light precipitation.
