Mahmoud (9) lost both arms: image of young war victim from Gaza is best press photo

The Palestinian photographer Samar Ebu Elouf has won the prestigious World Press Photo with an image she took from a young boy who was seriously injured during the flights for an Israeli attack in Gaza. She took the photo for ‘The New York Times’. The boy, Mahmoud Ajjour, lost both arms.
