Magistrates call on courts to share judgments on social media: “Better than calling on YouTube to quadder quasilynch parties”

A group of magistrates argues that the court in Belgium would communicate better about judgments, as is already the case in the Netherlands. Their response follows the storm of indignation on social media after the Leuven rape case, where the perpetrator received a suspension of punishment. “Those who do not know the context cannot judge the justice of a judgment,” it sounds to the magistrates.
