American tennis player Madison Keys won the first Grand Slam title of her career by defeating world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open final. In the magnificent final in Melbourne, Keys beat Sabalenka with sets of 6-3, 2-6 and 7-5, making her way to the top.
Keys made a strong start against Sabalenka, the champion of the last two seasons, and won the first set with a score of 6-3. However, with Sabalenka’s outstanding performance in the second set, balance was achieved and the Belarusian tennis player took the set 6-2 and took the match to the final set.
In the exciting third set, both players fought fiercely to gain superiority over each other. However, Madison Keys remained calm at critical moments and ended the match with a 7-5 victory, achieving the biggest victory of her career.
With this victory, Madison Keys made history in Grand Slam tournaments.
