Czech with a serious head injury after a training session

The World Cup general rehearsal in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is overshadowed by a bad training fall. The Czech ski racer Tereza Nova is seriously injured in the hospital.

The Czech ski racer Tereza Nova suffered a serious head injury in a training crash in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. She is currently being looked after in the hospital in intensive care.

The 26-year-old was recovered by helicopter after her accident in downhill training on Friday. The Czech Association initially announced that it is treated in a clinic near Garmisch-Partenkirchen and detailed examinations are carried out.

The last speed races of the women before the World Cup in Saalbach-Hinterglemm (4th to 16th February) will take place on the Kandahar slopes this weekend. After the departure on Saturday, a Super-G is on the program on Sunday.
