Madeleine celebrates live shopping premiere

The women’s clothing supplier Madeleine Mode GmbH is breaking new ground: On Thursday, the company, which belongs to the Munich Tristyle Group, presented its first live shopping event on its own website at the start of the spring-summer season. As part of the digital fashion show, presenter Susann Atwell and Sandra Lutz, Head of Category Management at Madeleine, presented “five it-pieces and their possible combinations”. The products shown could be ordered online directly from the live stream. The brand also offered styling and care advice to the customers watching via chat.

Heike Hornschuh, the managing director of Madeleine, drew a positive conclusion from the premiere: “With live shopping we are in direct contact with our customers. We want to inspire and surprise them – we definitely did that with our first event,” she said in a statement. The company therefore wants to continue using the new format: the next live events are already “planned for March and April,” explained Madeleine.
