The US department store chain Macy’s has filled a key post.

On Tuesday, the company announced the appointment of Daniel Leppo as Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager, Men’s and Kids’. In this role, he will lead the merchandising teams in both categories and report directly to Chief Merchandising Officer Nata Dvir, the retailer said. His focus is on putting together convincing ranges that are in line with the wishes of the customers: inside and market trends.

Leppo comes from the sister company Bloomingdale’s, which also belongs to the parent company Macy’s Inc. The industry expert spent his entire career at Bloomingdale’s and held various management positions there. Most recently, he was responsible for the categories cosmetics, men’s and children’s fashion and furniture as Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager.
