Tijdens het debat over de Septemberverklaring kondigde Vlaams minister van Wonen Matthias Diependaele (N-VA) al aan dat de regering de ingreep op de indexing van de huurprijzen dit weekend, meer bepaald op 1 oktober, van Kracht will laten gaan. Dat om te vermijden dat verhuurders nog snel hun huurprijs indexeren.
The basis of the indexing is based on the energy regulations in the packet regulations that the Vlaamse regering has been given. Minister Diependaele knows that verhuurders are obligated to have an EPC label in 2009. “When he’s geen EPC, he doesn’t want to be executed”, Aldus Diependaele.
