German international leaves French champion

Olympique Lyon loses another DFB professional: According to Laura Benkarth, Sara Däbritz is now leaving the French champion. And also an ex-international player.
After winning the French championship, the women’s team from Olympique Lyon has a major change. In addition to goalkeeper Laura Benkarth, Sara Däbritz and Dzsenifer Marozsan also say goodbye to the club.
Two days after winning the title, national player Däbritz turned to the fans on Instagram. “It was an honor to carry these colors. This chapter will always have a special place in my heart,” wrote Däbritz, who had played in Lyon for three years.
Marozsan also leaves the club. The 33-year-old even played for Lyon for nine years and was adopted by the club as a “real magician in the field”. “Now it’s time for a new chapter in my life. For a while I have been feeling that I need a new challenge,” wrote Marozsan himself.
While Benkarth returns to the Bundesliga to SC Freiburg, it is not yet known how things will continue for Däbritz and Marozsan.
