The OTB Group appoints Serge Brunschwig to the CEO of Jil Sander and Chief Strategy Officer of the Italian fashion group, which, in addition to Jil Sander, also includes brands such as Diesel, Maison Margiela and Marni.

Brunschwig competes with effect from February 5, said OTB on Wednesday. He follows Luca Lo Curzio and reports directly to Group CEO Ubaldo Minelli.

“In his role as CEO of Jil Sander, Serge Brunschwig will further expand the positioning of this brand with priceless potential and carefully and strategically control their growth course,” said Minelli. “Thanks to his experience and international vision, it will also help to define an even more ambitious strategic way for OTB.”

Brunschwig leaves LVMH after around 30 years

Brunschwig’s appeal followed one day after his farewell to the French luxury goods group LVMH, for which he had worked in various roles since 1995. He was CEO of the fashion house fendi until June 2024. Before that, he worked for Christian Dior for almost ten years, where he most recently acted as a President of Dior Homme. Brunschwig was also CEO at the Celine fashion house and General Director at Louis Vuitton within the LVMH group.
