After long complaining and grumbling, Wilfred Genee finally has a platform for which he can hold longer interviews: a podcast. There is only one problem. “The Dutch celebrities don’t want.”
There is again a Dutch celebrity with his own podcast: this time it is Wilfred Genee’s turn. In ‘As long as it is fun’ he interviews, under the flag of BNR Nieuwsradio, known Dutch people until he is fed up. For the time being there have been somewhat dry and boring guests, including Rob Oudkerk, Herman Koch and Bénédicte Ficq. Not for the VI audience.
Dutch celebrities don’t want
Wilfred does not know who will appear opposite him in the podcast, but the guests know that. And many Dutch celebrities do not want to be with the presenter at all, he says in The Friday Move.
“Yes, that’s it right for him. There are a lot of people who have said no. Is that crazy, isn’t it? Many people also said: “I want to look at it with that Genee first.” They apparently don’t dare. “
No more fun
Wilfred does not know which Dutch celebrities do not want either. “Mireille arranges it all.”
Potential guests must therefore be able to take a beating, because Wilfred stops if he doesn’t feel like it anymore. “The idea is that if I think I don’t like it anymore, I leave.”
According to him, the guests cannot do that. “No, that is not possible, because he already knows that it will sit with me.”
