Yannick Bouts, general manager of La Réserve, emphasizes that the terrace is not intended as an event location: “We do not want to create a bar or party place. The aim is to offer a place of tranquility to our guests. This has always been our intention.”
Despite these reassuring words, there remains resistance among some local residents. They fear that the terrace will still disturb the serene environment of the Zegemeer.
