FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – With a new VIP terminal, Frankfurt Airport (Fraport) expanded its previous premium offer on Monday. On the two-storey area with a total of 1,700 square meters that opened on Monday, priority is given to arriving and departing guests, for whom the special service – and the time saved in handling and checking – are worth the extra price. With your own security controls, entry and exit and shopping options, the entire travel process can be completed without queues and with a personal advisor.
The new terminal was built after a planning and construction phase that lasted around 24 months. The construction costs were estimated at a good 20 million euros. Up to 100 guests can be accommodated at the same time. In addition to a general lounge area, there are also private suites, meeting and conference rooms, a smoking room and a gaming lounge./czy/DP/men
