Luuk Ikink thinks that an RTL Boulevard interview with the actor couple Ingmar van den Broek and Cheyenne Löhnen was rather awkward. “It was a bit of a strange interview.”
Ingmar van den Broek and Cheyenne Löhnen, known as ex-soapies from Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden, are incredible posers. The 28-year-old actress and her 22-year-old boyfriend were building a future in Mexico after leaving GTST, but after some commotion due to the death of drug boss El Mencho, they left Mexico City in a hurry.
Telenovela
There was unrest in some places in the country, but in Mexico City it is all there business as usual. Yet the two imagined themselves as the main characters in an exciting Mexican film telenovela. With a sense of drama, they took the first taxi to the airport in a rather hysterical manner. While they have never really been in danger.
A little bit of headwind and those two take off. Well, you’re not going to win the war with that either. In retrospect, don’t those two think they overreacted a bit, now that nothing at all happened in Mexico City? “It looked a bit like it was becoming unsafe in that neighborhood there,” Ingmar (he) says RTL Boulevard.
“It was like that too!”
The dominant Cheyenne immediately corrects her younger boyfriend. “Well, it didn’t just look like it, did it?”
Well, he clearly wants to come home with a strong story. Ingmar then: “Yes, it was indeed true.”
Cheyenne: “We can both look like Americans and they are of course not very wanted there at the moment, so to speak. I personally think that is the biggest risk, because yes, if the cartels, for example, were to retaliates or something like that American looking peoplewell, that’s where we come in.”
Oh god, that girl is really suffering from it main character-syndrome. As if there’s even a single mustache interested in that girl.
Messed up
Cheyenne has thrown a bomb under the relationship The Telegraph to express her doubts about their future now that they are back in the Netherlands. It really upsets our plans and that is something that I have a hard time with.”
Ingmar confirms that they no longer live together: “I was able to go straight to my parents and because we had to return in a hurry, we also have to figure out how we are going to do this. It is a bit cramped at my house, because I have quite a lot of sisters. It is nice for her to just sit with a friend for a while.”
Separate interview
What discomfort they radiate, says Boulevard host Luuk Ikink. “It was a bit of a strange interview that they gave to us. They gave it to De Telegraaf a few days ago and it turned out that these people had split up.”
He continues: “Now they say: ‘Yes, we were really high in emotions at the time.’ Apparently something had happened and they had just returned from Mexico.”
Dear Vienna
Why do the former GTST soap operas even give this interview to Boulevard? “They were our guests anyway to talk about what they’ve been through and so on and this just happened to be added,” says Luuk.
“It’s nice that they answer our reporter’s question, but you can tell from everything in this conversation that things aren’t going well, but they’re still trying and they’re still holding on to each other a bit. Let’s just wish them the best, right?”
