(toskanews) – Two decades of art by Lucio Fontana in an elegant exhibition that somehow provides a small synthesis of the work of the Italian-Argentine artist, in particular in relation to the city of Milan, his adopted home. It is proposed by the Brun Fine Art gallery, with the title «Lucio Fontana. Beyond the surface.” Anna Cramarossa is the gallery manager of the Via Gesù office in Milan.

«The concept was precisely that of bringing Lucio Fontana’s entire artistic career on display – said ad askanews – let’s start with the ceramics of the 1950s on display, we have three ceramic plates, each representing a still life, a bullfight and a battle, accompanied by three ceramic crucifixes and subsequently three Cuts from the mid-sixties, one on a blue background, one on a red background, one on a white background and finally, to complete the exhibition itinerary, we have the series of Theatres ranging from 1966 to 1968″.

The exhibition is carefully set up, the works dialogue with each other and create a sensation of entry into the ideal space of Fontana’s work, which is clearly very well known, but has the strength to reveal something new and different every time, some facet that renews the emotion.
