Luca Lo Curzio becomes the new CEO of Jil Sander

The fashion label Jil Sander gets a new boss. On Tuesday, the Italian parent company OTB SpA announced the appointment of Luca Lo Curzio as CEO of the brand. The experienced fashion manager will take up his new position on June 1 and will report directly to Ubaldo Minelli, OTB’s CEO, according to a statement. Minelli had managed the label, which the group took over a good two years ago, himself since the summer of 2021.

Lo Curzio has a career spanning more than twenty years in the luxury and consumer goods sectors. He comes from the Italian fashion group Ermenegildo Zegna Group, where he had worked since 2016. There he first held the post of Chief Marketing and Digital Officer before being appointed CEO of the North American business in spring 2020. Before joining Zegna, Lo Curzio held various positions at well-known companies such as L’Oreal, Danone and Luxottica.

OTB boss Minelli has high hopes for the designated newcomer: “We are very pleased to welcome Luca Lo Curzio to the OTB Group,” he said in a statement. “Jil Sander is a brand with great development potential. I am confident that Luca Lo Curzio, a manager with extensive international experience, will be able to steer the company onto a new growth path.”
