★★ 1/2 A girl who is very upset because she broke up with her boyfriend sends her ex text messages that end up on the phone of a journalist who, text by text, falls in love with her. He then has to interview Céline Dion and that’s her chance to meet her. You can imagine everything a bit, right? No, no, don’t believe it, it’s not that Love at First Message is a “bad” movie in the sense that one wants to run away from the cinema. It doesn’t happen that way: it happens because, well, nothing happens. If it wasn’t for the fact that Priyanka is so pretty to look at (this is cinema, we have to want to keep our eyes on the screen for some reason) and that there isn’t a single moment where things slide into the awkward, there wouldn’t be anything here. . Although we don’t like to say that a film is “good for”, this could be ideal for a first outing with a previously defined crush.
