Louis Vuitton FW25 collection Credits: ©Launchmetrics/spotlight

Johnny Coca, Fashion Director Women Leather Goods, Jewelry, Sunglasses and Accessories at Louis Vuitton, and the French fashion house are going their separate ways.

The designer is leaving the fashion house, which belongs to the French luxury goods group LVMH, after five and a half years. Louis Vuitton confirmed this to the trade magazine WWD. He joined Louis Vuitton in May 2020 from British leather goods specialist Mulberry, where he worked as Creative Director for almost five years.

With his appointment at Louis Vuitton, he returned to the LVMH Group, where he says he worked as Head Design Director Leather Goods, Shoes and Accessories under creative director Phoebe Philo from 2010 to mid-2015. He also worked for Louis Vuitton before. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a designer for leather goods at the fashion house from 1996 to 2000.

It is currently not known where Coca is headed.
