Louis Vuitton expands digital collection

Louis Vuitton is expanding its digital ‘World of Via’ with another accessory.

After the ‘Via Treasure Trunk’, the French luxury fashion house is releasing another digital bag in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT). The new edition is the ‘Via Tile Trunk’, Louis Vuitton announced on Monday.

The miniature suitcase in the Damier check pattern is entirely in keeping with the brand, which has its origins in the suitcase manufacturer. Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections, the physical model was first seen at the Spring/Summer 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week in September.

The purchase of the accessory is exclusively reserved for the owners of the ‘Via Treasure Trunks’, the first NFT in the ‘World of Via’. That happened back in June digital collectible presented, which heralded the project and promised a journey through the Web3 with keys to unlock further accessories.

The latest NFT variant is said to be limited to a print run of 200 pieces. The price of 6,000 euros also includes a physical copy, which is scheduled for delivery in March.
