Björn Behlau is the new CEO

The Grünwald-based teleshopping specialist 1-2-3.tv has promoted Björn Behlau to CEO. Michael Hoinka and Eberhard Kuom, who most recently managed the company together, left “by mutual agreement,” 1-2-3.tv announced on Monday.

According to the company, Behlau has more than 20 years of experience in the teleshopping industry. After career positions at HSE Italia and QVC, he came to 1-2-3.tv in 2019. There he worked as Executive Vice President Placement & Sales Execution until his now announced promotion. “In this position, he was instrumental in strengthening customer acquisition and optimizing the customer experience,” the company said. “In addition, he established a new broadcasting system and built a customer-centered program.”

The new CEO presented his plans in a statement: “In the coming months, we will focus on sharpening the omnichannel experience in order to achieve an even stronger symbiosis between analog and digital channels,” he explained. In addition, the expansion of the product range should “sensibly tap into new target groups and expand the existing sales channels,” says Behlau.
