Loud and DRX in the semifinals of Valorant Lock//In

The first tournament week at Valorant Lock//In in Brazil has been played. With world champion Loud and DRX, two teams are already in the semi-finals of the tournament in Brazil.

This means that the favorites have prevailed so far in the first global comparison of the year. Above all, Loud’s e-sportsmen were able to meet the expectations placed on them at their home tournament.

With victories against Gen.G (2:0), Karmine Corp (2:0) and NRG (2:1), the team from the Brazilian e-sports organization has advanced to the semi-finals. The quarter-finals against NRG in particular was a tournament highlight. Only after the fifth overtime was the final map fracture decided in favor of Loud (18:16).

DRX’s entry into the semi-finals was similarly contested. The South Korean team was able to prevail 2:1 against BBL Esports, Cloud9 and most recently Talon Esports.

With a view to their semi-final duel, however, the e-sportsmen from Loud and DRX have to be patient. Their game will not be played until March 2nd. Before that, the teams from the bottom half of the tournament, including Team Liquid and Fnatic, will play out the second semi-final.
