Lots of snow for France and Italy, in Austria it is warm and green ski slopes threaten

There is good (or bad) news for winter sports enthusiasts who are packing their bags for the Christmas holidays. A significant amount of snow is on its way to the Alps, but that ‘snow dump’ strikes selectively. Especially in Austria, there is a threat of ‘green slopes’ in a number of lower ski areas.
