Once again civilians have fallen victim to a Russian missile attack on Ukraine. This time a market was hit in Shevchenkove, about 80 km southeast of the city of Kharkiv.

Images released by the Ukrainian presidential cabinet show a large crater. There is a pile of rubble and fires raging all around. Figures on the number of victims differ according to the source. Two women are said to have died, including one aged 60. Another four to seven people are said to be injured. There are also girls aged 10 and 13.
Rescuers are still searching the rubble for other possible victims.
