Clarissa Ward drives across the border between Lebanon and Syria after the Assad regime has fallen. Apart from a few people who send them on their way, the border is virtually deserted. “It’s amazing to see,” says the CNN journalist. “Before this there would have been soldiers, there would have been border guards. Now there is absolutely no one from the Syrian regime.”
