THEL tour de force it has officially begun. Inaugurated by the New York shows, the month of fashion shows is ready to conquer the British capital. There London Fashion Week 2024 will indeed be held from 15 to 19 September. Five days of presentations, catwalk and events dedicated to fashion trends Spring Summer 2024. Among highly anticipated names – like Burberry And JW Anderson -, welcome new entries and illustrious defections, the English fashion week is also preparing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the NEWGEN program. The initiative that in recent decades has turned the spotlight on emerging talents and new designers who have become an integral part of the industry.
Between historic fashion houses and young realities, London Fashion Week 2024 is about to begin.
30 years on
London Fashion Week has always been synonymous with avant-garde and novelty. The initiative #NewGen, conceived by the British Fashion Council, guarantees an enviable stage for tomorrow’s designers and their brands. On the occasion of the thirtieth edition of this event, the Design Museum presents the exhibition REBEL: 30 Years of London Fashionin collaboration with BFC and sponsored by Alexander McQueen. Open until February 2024, the retrospective brings together the works of symbolic creatives of the London scene, such as Christopher Kane, Kim Jones, Grace Wales Bonner, Bianca Saunders, Mary Katrantzou and many others. In the name of a London style always oriented towards the future.
Arrivals and departures
The crown jewel of London Fashion Week remains Burberrywhich will show on Monday 18 September with the second collection designed by Daniel Lee. It has earned a loyal audience too JW Anderson, on the catwalk on Saturday 16 September, a guarantee of surprising and original shows. Among the seasonal novelties the Norwegian brand stands out Holzweilerwhich left Copenhagen Fashion Week in favor of Big Ben, taking those values with it genderless and sustainable solutions that are so relevant today.

The London calendar does not give up then 16Arlington, David Koma, Richard Quinn, Molly Goddard, Simon Rocha and Erdem. There will be a fashion show among the maisons most loved by the new generations KNWLS, Chopova Lowena, Supriya Lele, Ahluwalia, as well as Aaron Ash, new winner of the LVMH Prize. However, Christopher Kane and Nensi Dojaka will not be present.
