Liverpool announce Divock Origi will leave the club



English Premier League team Liverpool announced that Belgian national football player Divock Origi, whose contract will expire at the end of the month, will leave the team.


In the statement made by the club, it was stated that the contract of 27-year-old Origi, who joined the team 8 years ago, will not be renewed.


Origi transferred from Lille to Liverpool in 2014 for a transfer fee of £10m. The Belgian striker later played for one season in Lille and Wolfsburg on loan.


Origi, who played 175 matches in Liverpool, where he had a one time victory in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, English Premier League, English Federation Cup, English League Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, scored 41 goals.


It was also noted that Loris Karius, Sheyi Ojo and Ben Woodburn, whose contracts will expire at the end of the month, will also leave the team.
