VV Wacker was crowned champion of the fourth division A in 2022 and thus secured promotion to the third division. The team from De Wijk can look back on an excellent season in the third division A. It achieved 36 points from 20 games and finished in third place. Thanks to the win of the first period title, Wacker was allowed to attempt promotion to the second division after the regular season. However, that turned out to be too much to ask.
This season then? The formation from De Wijk has had a mixed start in the third division C. The first five games yielded nine points. The home game with Dwingeloo should not cause any problems. The visitors occupy eleventh place with three points.
