Max Verstappen will not start the first ever Grand Prix in Miami from pole position. The Dutchman seemed on his way to pole for a long time with 1.28.991, but had to tolerate Leclerc with 1.28.796. Carlos Sainz was also faster than Verstappen, who took the second row of the grid together with teammate Sergio Perez.
