Theo Besteman – Wall Street is closed with a loss: the Dow Jones (-0.6%), S&P 500 (-0.7%), Nasdaq (-1%) increased the decline towards the lock. Us Steel received permission for the merger with Nippon Steel. For the fourth trading day in a row, the S&P500 is closed with losses on worries about economic growth and the promised large tax deal of President Trump. With 1% loss, the AEX went out to trade at 917.39 points. Chip funds ASMI and Besi in particular went back after President Trump announced extra import duties against the EU countries.
