The SCP again: Batmaz gets the ball from the right at the penalty spot after Grodowski’s low cross. But the attacker doesn’t get a dangerous shot.

Almost the hit – for Munster! With a fine counterattack, Grodowski lays out to the left for Kyerewaa from the center. The 21-year-old fits flat in the middle, where Bouchama finds his master from ten meters in Golz.

RWE has now tasted blood. The guests are defensively delivered properly. More good opportunities are in the air.

And then has Doumbouya the big chance! Wiegel lifts a wide ball over the right into the top just before the goal line somehow to the penalty spot. There Doumbouya takes off directly, but doesn’t hit the round properly – just past the left.

The action on the lawn is still rather quiet. Both teams are looking for the quickest way forward, but find neither precision nor ideas in the offensive game.

Let’s go on Hafenstraße!

The Prussians have meanwhile already sealed their first victory. The first draw against Borussia Dortmund II (0:0) was followed by a defeat at Arminia Bielefeld (0:4), before the home game against FC Ingolstadt 04 saw three points for the first time (3:1). For the moment, the four points in the table are enough for 15th place. It should now be important for the promoted team to take something countable with them away from home.

The season got off to a rather poor start for Essen. On the one hand, two goals from three games speak for small initial difficulties, as far as the offensive is concerned. On the other hand, they were naturally only able to score a few points. A bankruptcy at the start at Hallesches FC and two draws against FC Erzgebirge Aue (1:1) and at Viktoria Köln (0:0) currently mean the penultimate place in the classification. Of course, this is only a snapshot – but today should definitely be the first threesome.

Hello and welcome to the fourth matchday in the 3rd division! At the end of the current round, Rot-Weiss Essen receives SC Preußen Münster for a Westphalian duel. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.
