During the week, the sporting topics were secondary. Real Madrid’s encounter at Valencia was overshadowed by racist slurs against 22-year-old Vinicius Junior by a supporter of the hosts. This led to an interruption of several minutes in the second half. Seven people were subsequently arrested for racist insults. The Real striker then raised serious allegations against the Spanish football league. A demonstration took place in front of the Spanish consulate in São Paulo.

The end of the season is not as successful at Rayo Vallecano. From the last five games there have been three defeats and two wins – one of them against FC Barcelona (2-1).
