A few days earlier, a 3-3 win over Benfica secured their ticket to the semi-finals in the Champions League, and a few days before that Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw in the league. As a result, all title chances are maintained. Today, the LFC could jump back to the top of the table for the first time since the 6th matchday. Manchester City don’t play Brighton until tomorrow.
