Not heard, not seen. Sophie* (35) was sidelined as a mother by the authorities that decided on her children. Powerless, she watched as her then 8-year-old daughter and her one-and-a-half-year-old baby ended up in a Vlaardingen foster home, which would turn out to be a horror place. “They did not work with me, but against me,” she says. “And my daughter is now paying the price for that.”
