Tottenham Hotspur had a nasty afternoon visiting last-placed Southampton. Striker Richarlison fell out after five minutes, after which Tottenham also gave away a 1-3 lead. Pedro Porro gave Spurs the lead in the long stoppage time of the first half, but in the first minute after the break Southampton leveled through Ché Adams. Tottenham ran out to 1-3 via Harry Kane and Ivan Perisic. Theo Walcott then scored and James Ward-Prowse set the final score at 3-3 on behalf of Southampton in stoppage time. Horace Danjuma remained on the bench for the entire game at Tottenham, who are fourth with 49 points.

Leeds United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-4. Dutchmen Crysencio Summerville and Pascal Struijk both came in just before time with a score of 2-3. Rasmus Kristensen, former player of Ajax, made the 0-3 on behalf of Leeds United.

Bundesliga
RB Leipzig has suffered a painful defeat in the German title fight. A visit to the VfL Bochum of former Vitesse coach Thomas Letsch was lost 1-0. RB Leipzig is now seven points behind leader Bayern Munich and five points behind Borussia Dortmund with one game more. Captain Jeffrey Gouweleeuw’s FC Augsburg drew 1-1 against Schalke 04, where Thomas Ouwejan and Sepp van den Berg were missing due to injuries. Jean-Paul Boëtius was also missing from Hertha BSC, which lost 3-1 to Hoffenheim. Micky van de Ven played the entire match at VfL Wolfsburg and won 0-1 against VfB Stuttgart.

Defeat for Noa Lang and Bjorn Meijer at Club Brugge
The away match against KV Kortrijk ended in disappointment for Noa Lang and Bjorn Meijer’s Club Brugge. Both Dutchmen played the entire match and left the field with a 1-0 defeat. As a result, Club Brugge is now number four nineteen points behind leader RC Genk.
