After the Champions League triumphs of Feyenoord and PSV, it was on Thursday evening to the Dutch teams in the Europa League. At 9 p.m. Ajax defends a 2-0 lead against Union St. Gilloise, but first it was AZ and FC Twente. The Tukkers met FK Bodø/Glimt in Norway at 6.45 pm and went down after extension. AZ defended a 4-1 lead against Galatasaray at the same time in Turkey and it worked: it became 2-2 and sufficient for the next round.
