LIVE | Dow plunges 800 points in fifth consecutive week of losses, fears escalation of Iran war

The Dow Jones closed almost 800 points lower on Friday. The S&P ended with a loss for the fifth week in a row and 10 percent below its peak. American and Israeli attacks on nuclear facilities in Iran followed attacks from Tehran on energy installations in the region. The AEX closed 1.1 percent lower at 960.22 points after heavy sales of chip funds.
