Virgil van Dijk’s Liverpool are the favorites to make it to the next round, but Jürgen Klopp’s team will have to work hard against the reigning champions of Italy, where Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries are under contract. Red Bull Salzburg – Bayern Munich
RB Salzburg and Bayern Munich will also compete against each other at 9 p.m. The Germans will want to recover in Austria from defeat (2-4 against VfL Bochum) in the Bundesliga last Saturday. They have to do that without Manuel Neuer and Leon Goretzka. Goalkeeper Neuer is still recovering from knee surgery and Goretzka has been sidelined since early December due to a knee injury.
