VZV is too strong for E&O: 36-24. The handball players from ‘t Veld took full advantage of Venlo’s defeat. They lost to VOC and therefore VZV only has two points less than the Limburgers. SEW loses out to Kwiek (32-31). HV Volendam has won again after losing two games. The score was 27-33 on a visit to PSV.
The handball players of Volendam have comprehensively defeated low-flying Houten (55-31). With the big win, the Volendam team rises to second place in the BENE League.
Aalsmeer did not get further than 28-28 at home against competitor Lions. A late goal from Tim Bottinga (most goals) kept the score level, because Jasper Adams is also accurate for that. A second before the end, Donny Vink’s shot was stopped. The halftime score is 15-16.
For Royal HFC, the away match against Jong Sparta starts well with a goal from Cas Dijkstra (former Telstar): 0-1. That changed after a red card for Levi de Wilde just before half-time. In the second half, the ten cannot hold on to the lead and it becomes 4-1. Partly due to a hat trick by Dean Zandbergen.
When visiting low-flying Rijnsburgse Boys, AFC did not get further than 1-1. Raily Ignacio was accurate. ADO’ 20 suffered a painful defeat against ACV Assen. The score was 1-1 via Milan Zonneveld from a penalty, after which Freddy Quispel scored the winning goal in minute 93 (!).
Even more successful skating news for the North Hollanders. Naomi Verkerk from Nieuw-Vennep came third behind Femke Kok and Jutta Leerdam. This means she can participate in this part of the World Cup.
There is also plenty of skating on the program on Sunday. For example, Merijn Scheperkamp tries to get a ticket in the 1000 meters and Irene Schouten participates in the 5000 meters.
There is a possibility that Steven Berwijn will leave Ajax in the winter. The current captain is being closely monitored by the Saudi Al-Ettifaq, according to the statement NOS.
