Lisa Price will be the new human resources manager

The US retailer Nordstrom Inc. is bringing an experienced human resources expert back to the company. Lisa Price will take over the position of Chief Human Resources Officer on November 6th, the company announced on Friday.

Price comes from restaurant giant Domino’s Pizza, where she served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer since 2019. Before that, she had spent several years in the human resources department at Nordstrom, including the position of senior vice president of human resources.

Upon her return, Price will be responsible for all aspects of human resources at Nordstrom, including new hiring and internal training, as well as areas such as diversity and inclusion.

“Lisa has nearly three decades of experience building corporate cultures at major global corporations and already knows Nordstrom. “That’s why she knows that our company’s success starts with our employees,” said Erik Nordstrom, the retailer’s CEO, in a statement. With her proven qualities, Price will be “an enrichment to the team,” said Nordstrom.
