Lino Tempelmann changes to the BTSV

In the second half of the season, Lino Tempelmann was an important building block for the relegation of Eintracht Braunschweig. Now it is clear: the midfielder remains a “lion”.
Eintracht Braunschweig has signed midfielder Lino Tempelmann from FC Schalke 04. The 26-year-old played on loan for the lions last season and developed into a top performer.
“With his extremely strong performance in the second half of the season, Lino showed that he is a difference in this league and has also played in the hearts of our fans,” said sports manager Benjamin Kessel.
Sports director Kessel not only praised the sporting qualities of the newcomer, but also its effect in the team: “With his outstanding qualities, he will continue to play a very decisive role in the future.”
Tempelmann scored seven goals in 18 missions and prepared two more. Now he signs a contract until June 30, 2028. The clubs did not share anything about the transfer modalities.
Eintracht had already made it clear during the loan that it wanted to bind the midfielder in the long term. Tempelmann himself also showed himself open to whereabouts at an early stage.
“I am pleased to go on the way to the Eintracht and to be an integral part of the club from then on. From the beginning I felt an extreme appreciation that was certainly a reason for my decision with the social environment,” said Tempelmann.
