He missed training
BTSV top performers questionable for Nuremberg game

On Saturday, Eintracht Braunschweig will fight for an important three points against 1. FC Nürnberg. A top performer is a shaky candidate for the duel against the “club”.
Eintracht Braunschweig has to worry about the use of Lino Tempelmann in the game against 1. FC Nürnberg on Saturday (kick-off: 1 p.m.). BTSV coach Heiner Backhaus confirmed this on Thursday during the press conference for the game. Accordingly, the midfielder has not trained with the team so far this week.
The decision about a deployment will not be made until Friday, Backhaus continued. Until then, the medical department will be contacted. “We will do everything we can to ensure that he can play,” added the Eintracht coach.
The 26-year-old Tempelmann was substituted at halftime in the Niedersachsensenderby against Hannover 96 last Sunday. Backhaus justified this measure with minor injuries before the game. Tempelmann was already out of four competitive games at the end of August and September due to an ankle injury.
The midfielder in the headquarters is an important part of the Backhaus team. Last season he had seven goals and two assists in 18 games for Eintracht. In the current season he remained without a goal in seven appearances.
On the offensive, the BTSV in Nuremberg will also be missing striker Erencan Yardimci, who was suspended for three championship games after his assault in the derby. For him, Levente Szabo will probably start in the front line. Robert Ramsak, a 19-year-old on loan from RB Leipzig, promised Backhaus a “partial assignment”. So far, the newcomer has not played a competitive game for the professionals.
Basically, Backhaus is hoping for a reaction to the 3-0 defeat against Hannover 96 against Nuremberg. “Of course a derby defeat doesn’t please anyone,” he said. The bankruptcy was “analyzed ruthlessly”. Now it’s time to “fix the crown” and move on. Because the duel with Nuremberg is “also a game in terms of the table, which is very important.”
Before the match day, Eintracht is in twelfth place in the table with ten points. Nuremberg is 15th in the table with nine points.
