She has already achieved everything and continues to pursue her passion. But Lindsey Vonn is already thinking about a life away from the snow.

Lindsay Vonn only made her comeback last season and is also competing this winter. However, the ski racer and 2010 Olympic downhill champion can imagine changing sports after the games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo next year.

On the US show “Today,” the 41-year-old announced that after the games she would dedicate herself to a new passion: rodeo. Vonn said she wanted to enter her “cowgirl phase.” Rodeo could be her “next big adventure.”

In fact, the two-time world champion was already involved in western sports in the summer. On Instagram she repeatedly showed pictures and videos of so-called roping – this involves catching a calf with a lasso. “I started rodeo roping in the summer,” Vonn explained, joking that she’s now in her “cowgirl era.”

However, Vonn first wants to impress at the Olympics. The routes in Italy suit her and that’s why the American wanted to prove to herself once again what she can do on the slopes. With a view to the upcoming season, she said: “I feel really good. Second place last year and my ranking show: I’m in a top position.” Vonn was on the podium in Sun Valley, but she didn’t secure a medal at the World Championships that year.

However, Vonn knows that she “no longer has anything to prove,” as she recently revealed at a “Team USA” press conference with a view to the games. Comparing it to a basketball legend, she continued: “I don’t think anyone remembers Michael Jordan’s comeback. I don’t think it hurt his legacy. I’ve already done it. I’ve already won.”
