Actress Isabelle van Hecke and singer Wannes Capelle both borrow their voice to the new audio tour in the Streuvelhuis in Ingooigem.

“To maintain the homeliness of Streuvel, there is no information. We work with an app. That app was now more than 10 years old and after reactions from the public we realized that it was ready for innovation,” says coordinator Thomas Jacques.

And that innovation is not only in the brand new app with audio tour. There is also Streuvel’s archive, which now has a prominent place. “Streuvel has left a rich archive of hundreds of letters, thousands of photos and manuscripts of his novels. We have had a piece of furniture made, so that the archive comes home. We want to make a different exhibition with archive documents every year. This year is around Lenteleven, his debut.”
