Monaco drew 1-1 (1-0) at champions and leaders Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday (08/28/2022). Ex-Leverkusener Volland put the guests ahead in the 17th minute on his season debut.
First point loss for PSG
Neymar (70th) saved the star ensemble from the capital at least one point with a converted penalty kick. Bayern Munich’s loanee Alexander Nübel had no chance in the Monegasque goal.
For PSG it was the first loss of points on the fourth day of the game. After a weak start to the season, Monaco managed a respectable win.
